Sweet Home. Yes that was the only thing I could think of after driving 12 hours a day for 2 days straight over 1,500 miles and I think 6,000 total. After a whirlwind tour of the University of Houston, shooting 70 videos in three days, I was burnt out. Well, while downtown Houston is mostly office buildings, the rest of Houston is quite nice and interesting. The most interesting of these places must have been the Orange Show. It’s quite an interesting show, well not really a show anymore, but a self-guided tour. As you can see by the pictures, it’s quite the place. I just wanted to give my thanks to UMD and USF for everything, in particular the students from AMA and PRSSA. Without your help I would not been able to go to sleep before midnight because I would have been out all day and night trying to get people into the car. If your hotel room does not have a mini-fridge, one will magically appear on the last day of your 10-day stay. If you ask on the first day, they will probably give you the mini-fridge the first day of your 10-day stay. (The room I’m in now came with a mini-fridge and mini-microwave!)

If you are a college student, there is no such thing as jaywalking, and it is assumed that all traffic will stop in your presence as long as you walk in a cross walk, even if the sign says don’t walk. (I was once a college student.)

After a little fun in the sun this past week, sadly my mini vacation is over.

But, that’s ok, I missed getting to know everyone. It’s not much fun in a new town without any friends. So it’s been fun getting out and making some new ones.
