Rock the Vote

For anyone who actually reads my weblogs, I want to apologize for yesterday’s. Truth be told, it was lame. I painted a standard picturesque scene of Any College, USA, and threw in a notable mountain. I’m sure much more elegantly spoken people have written about how pleasant Seattle is before me. Do you know the way to San Jose?

I-80, Dee, Dee, Dee, Dee, Dee-Dee. That’s it. Just take I-80 all the way: 2094 miles. The entire time. Really. (Okay, there’s a little stint of about 70 miles on I-680 for the final stretch, but at this point there’re signs that read “San Jose”, so you feel like you’re already there.)

Ahh, the great American road trip. It’s something I’ve dreamt about all my life. I always knew, deep, deep down, that I’d take an ’09 Aveo5 with an obnoxious “Livin Large” screen print tastefully angled across each side of the vehicle to the … Continue Reading
