Keep Watching and Voting!

Just wanted to give another behind the scenes look from the driver’s seat.

Well, the come from behind win from Arielle S. and Katie T. was a surprise and so was their answer to my question. I asked it though so I guess I got an answer, and apparently it was a good one, because everyone seemed to like it.

Like many of the videos, the girls just jumped in the car for the free stuff, like any good college student would. It was the first school, and I wasn’t feeling very creative at the moment, so I used my book … Continue Reading

Home Sweet Home

Home.

Sweet Home. Yes that was the only thing I could think of after driving 12 hours a day for 2 days straight over 1,500 miles and I think 6,000 total. After a whirlwind tour of the University of Houston, shooting 70 videos in three days, I was burnt out. It was a blast working with the students who helped me and making so many videos in a day I couldn’t remember half of them.  While I had a lot of fun, I was ready to get on the road. So after spending half the night before I left … Continue Reading

The Orange Show and the Rest of Houston

Well, while downtown Houston is mostly office buildings, the rest of Houston is quite nice and interesting. The most interesting of these places must have been the Orange Show. It’s quite an interesting show, well not really a show anymore, but a self-guided tour. As you can see by the pictures, it’s quite the place. The entire place is basically dedicated to the orange and making the perfect orange juicier, which is apparently the strange contraption pictured. Continue Reading

Adventures in the Aveo5 College Cab: New Orleans

Just thought I would share with everyone some pictures from my side trips in the Aveo5.

On the way from Tampa to Houston, there isn’t a whole lot along the way, except New Orleans, which I had never been to before, so why not take a few hours to stop off to do a little sightseeing.

I traveled through the French Quarter most of the time, trying to see what the big deal was about the beignets, Bourbon Street, and if their seafood was any good. … Continue Reading

Thank You USF and UMD

I just wanted to give my thanks to UMD and USF for everything, in particular the students from AMA and PRSSA. Without your help I would not been able to go to sleep before midnight because I would have been out all day and night trying to get people into the car. Your help has been invaluable and has made my experience as the driver ten times better and a hundred times easier than it would have been without you.

I would also like to thank all the students that have participated thus far; it’s been a blast to … Continue Reading
